I’ve loved you between these bars for too long.


Inside my cheek I’ve scratched a scar for you.


Soon, I’ll forget your smooth white shoulder,


the blue café of you, your Babylon hunger on my tongue.


Lie down here; let me put my heel on you, 


my stamp of resolution and regret.
